Pan Pacific Hotels Group recently engaged branding agency Stepworks to design key brand components of a group of premium Singapore F&B outlets.

The project included logos for three restaurants in the group’s landmark property, Pan Pacific Orchard, Singapore. And a logo for a new F&B concept in the group’s flagship hotel, Pan Pacific Singapore.

Achieving at-a-glance recognition

The objective of the initiative was to create logos that would convey the positioning and emotional appeal of each outlet with a glance.

As is common in the F&B sector, the branding was developed following the confirmation of the restaurant concepts.

The Pan Pacific and Stepworks teams worked together to project the distinction of each of the outlets in a visually succinct and engaging manner:

Pacific Breeze

A premium restaurant with outdoor seating, Pacific Breeze lives up to its name with a smart casual atmosphere. It serves local heritage favourites and refreshments. 

The stretched, relaxed script typography invites guests to stretch out, relax and unwind.

 

Florette

This champagne and oyster bar with a difference is named for the Roman goddess of flowers. It’s presented as a temple of decadence with fine wines, curated cocktails and gourmet seafood snacks.

The understated Florette logo elegantly marries a champagne flute with a stylised oyster shell.

 

Mosella

A play on the word “morsel”, Mosella celebrates the Mediterranean tradition of shared meals. The outlet offers diverse regional flavours in premium surroundings. 

The logo is inspired by the geometric patterns found in this modern Mediterranean restaurant's ceramic floor tiles. The design is bold but not dominating, blending into the contemporary surroundings in a way that contributes to the refined yet unfussy guest experience.

 

Pacific Emporium

Four distinct spaces under one brand, serving an enticing selection of Singaporean flavours, comprising: The Kitchen, The Bar, The Deli, and The Gifting. The outlets take guests on an authentic journey of local delights.

The design collaboration between Pan Pacific and Stepworks resulted in successful outcomes for each of the outlets, with the project achieving all its original goals. Feedback from guests and the project teams has been largely excellent.
