Students with challenging home lives stay in Hope House to advance their education
Hope School in Siem Reap, Cambodia, have finished building their dormitory for students, Hope House.
Stepworks turned 25 in 2019. As a long-term supporter of the Hope School, the branding agency celebrated a significant milestone by funding their first dormitory. The intent was to create positive change for children who either live too remotely to attend school on a regular basis, or come from families facing very difficult circumstances.
Opening doors
Hope House can accommodate around 30 students, situated a 15-minute walk from Hope School. Hope School provides free education to more than 350 Cambodian students.
Hope House is already a home-away-from-home for some older students seeking opportunities to go to university or enter professional service industries. Hope School teaches these children English and Maths to support their ambitions.
