Stepworks celebrates 25th anniversary with an update to their logo, identity and website

During June 2019, the branding agency Stepworks launched their refreshed brand. The initiative builds on their 25-year ascent to becoming a leading branding agency in Hong Kong. Stepworks updated their brand touchpoints to accurately express their service offering – Wholehearted Brand Building.

Wholehearted Brand Building epitomises the Stepworks team’s approach to work, how they connect with clients and how they wow audiences. The enhanced brand includes a revamped website with valuable insights for brand builders, with the aim of helping them bring about positive change

New brand for a branding agency

Like any brand development project the agency kickstarts, Stepworks began their journey by re-evaluating their own brand strategy. Their brand model was refined to tighten focus on points of differentiation, with an emphasis on helping clients create positive change.

A new logo and design language were created to express their wholehearted methodology – clarify, simplify, amplify. The logo is easier to read, uses fewer and more flexible design rules, and a brighter colour palette to draw the eye. The w in Stepworks is underlined to emphasise wholehearted, the firm’s brand DNA.

A darn site better

The new brand was also expressed on the website. The site’s restructured navigation helps users discover different aspects of the company and values. New features include an in-depth team and careers page and refreshed business case studies. A fast-paced 60-second showreel celebrates a diverse portfolio of successful branding projects.

The Stepworks team is extremely thankful for all the positive and productive relationships cultivated over the years and looks forward to continue building better brands for people for the next 25 years.
