General air-conditioner’s compact window split type machines for the brand’s summer campaign.
For this campaign Ah Po co-starred with Hong Kong actor Baby John. The pair appeared in
TV spots that showed them playing a game to highlight the advantages of General’s innovative window-mounted machines. The campaign also rolled out on social media along with a
making-of video. In around three weeks the Youtube videos attracted over 100,000 views. The popular pair also appeared in print, outdoor and POS media.
A Fujitsu brand, General air-conditioners have kept Hong Kong people in the comfort zone since 1974. Created by Hong Kong branding agency Stepworks, Ah Po makes a regular appearance in early summer to remind Hong Kongers that quiet, powerful General air-conditioners can cool a room down fast.
