OnePlatform is an innovative new venture by Convoy. The O2O B2B platform provides access to a comprehensive selection of financial products and services. OnePlatform targets a wide range of audiences, from financial institutions to wealth management professionals.
The company recruited Stepworks to join its marketing communications team. The objective was to define the brand strategy and develop a corporate identity to launch the new business.
Clarity is a valuable asset for a complex offering
Through sector research the brand building team developed an understanding of the competitive landscape. During the discovery stage the team tested assumptions for the proposed brand name. The outcome was a comprehensive research report and a brand model that defined the core messages of the new venture.
The strategic messaging for the brand informed a design brief. The Stepworks creative team provided various design proposals, each of which expressed different dimensions of the brand.
One strong brand
Convoy confirmed a contemporary corporate identity for OnePlatform with a striking and confident logo. The idea of a platform offering multiple services is expressed in the logo. The digit 1 connects the one and platform elements through the letters n and l.
The new business was launched with a campaign that ran across multiple channels. Taking care over the brand strategy and design gave OnePlatform a solid foundation to build on.
