Powering up a consumer electronics x fashion campaign

Major battery brand GP Batteries has developed a crossover collaboration with renowned fashion designer Vivienne Tam as part of its innovative initiatives to add sparkle to the mobile charger category. Now into its second successful season, the new GP PowerBank x Vivienne Tam Fall/Winter collection introduces three new designs to the range. The collection is inspired by Vivienne Tam’s chinoiserie – a romantic notion of China interpreted by Europeans in centuries past. The style features lavish traditional images of birds, pagodas, boats, bamboos and bridges.

Developed by Hong Kong branding specialist Stepworks, the fashion forward campaign included a photoshoot, media kit, video, print campaign and collaterals.

The campaign is part of an ongoing collaboration between GP Batteries and Stepworks that is opening exciting new opportunities in the PowerBank category.
