Brochure informs NGO stakeholders about ambitious project

8 October 2025

The HKSR Lam Tin Complex redevelopment brochure shares an ambitious vision through structured storytelling and clear information design

The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation (HKSR) is redeveloping its Lam Tin Complex to create Wellspring (working title), a new integrated rehabilitation and healthcare hub.

HKSR partnered with Stepworks to develop a brochure designed to communicate the project vision to various stakeholders.

The publication introduces Wellspring as a one-stop centre for integrated rehabilitation and healthcare services. It explains how the redevelopment will strengthen HKSR’s ability to support individuals, families and caregivers across different stages of life.

Complex community projects deserve clarity

The Lam Tin Complex redevelopment represents a major investment in Hong Kong’s future healthcare capacity. The brochure translates the initiative into a clear and structured narrative that explains the project’s purpose, scope and community impact.

The HKSR and Stepworks team developed content to guide readers through the redevelopment story step-by-step. The narrative begins with the social context and the growing need for integrated rehabilitation services before presenting the vision for Wellspring and the benefits it will bring to the community.

Balancing information and purpose

An accessible communication style keeps the message relevant and accessible. Clear typographic hierarchy and carefully structured layouts support readability. The refined visual tone is appropriate for engagement with multiple stakeholder groups.

Imagery and storytelling elements highlight the human dimension of rehabilitation services. The design direction reinforces the organisation’s mission while presenting the redevelopment as a meaningful opportunity for philanthropic participation.

Supporting long-term stakeholder engagement

The completed brochure provides HKSR with a communication tool that supports conversations with stakeholders. It shares the vision and long-term social value of the project.

Readers will understand how rehabilitation strengthens wider community health and creates new opportunities for inclusive care in Hong Kong.
