Eyedeal Medical Technology Company Limited was founded in 2015 by a group of scientists and researchers in the US. The company’s mission is to bring high performance intraocular lenses (IOL) to every patient that needs them.
IOL implants are the standard treatment for cataracts – a natural part of aging that clouds the vision of 90% of people over 65. Surgeons restore clear vision by replacing the lenses in the eye with IOLs. It’s the world’s most common surgical procedure.
Adding value with eye-catching branding
Eyedeal is a new company in a field dominated by multinational healthcare brands. As such the company stands to benefit strongly from a brand that is noticeable, confidence-inspiring, and memorable.
To ensure world-class design and effective messages, the company partnered with globally-active branding firm Stepworks. The brief called for a brand that is both distinctive and projects the credibility expected from highly regulated medical devices.

Visionary clarity
The branding solution included a bold orange/red logo with dark grey typography and a simple design language.
The new Eyedeal corporate identity was rolled out at a trade event. It has been applied to packaging, vehicle livery, a website and at Eyedeals’ premises, and received a positive reception.
