The global garment manufacturer TAL Apparel enlisted branding agency Stepworks to design and produce its sustainability report
. Privately held TAL publishes the comprehensive report every two years. The report’s objective is to inspire a more sustainable and transparent approach among its team, partners, customers and the wider fashion sector.
For TAL’s report, Stepworks brought the content to life by translating complex data with clear infographics and simple iconography. The agency created the concept ‘One Stitch at a Time’, a theme to engage readers and provide a consistent visual direction for the publication.
Picking up the threads
Stepworks worked closely with TAL to make working processes more visible and smoothen delivery. To prevent version chaos experienced with previous vendors, Stepworks and TAL collaborated over shared online documents to ensure timely, precise feedback.
As a final flourish, Stepworks hand-stitched a series of images throughout the report including its distinctive front cover. The report impressed TAL’s multinational audiences and stakeholders alike.
